Your study data remains under your control.
StudyFlow works on this device without an account. If you opt in to cloud sync, your planner is stored privately in your signed-in Firebase account so it can be retrieved on another device.
What is stored
Subjects, timetable entries, homework, assessments, results, topic confidence, preferences and optional imported calendar availability are stored locally in your browser. When you explicitly enable cloud sync, the same planner data is stored in a private Google Cloud Firestore record protected by your account.
Retention and control
Local data remains until you remove it, clear browser data, or use StudyFlow’s “Clear this device’s data” setting. Cloud sync is optional and can be turned off without deleting the cloud copy. You can export your data before clearing it. Clearing device data cannot be undone.
Third parties
The core planner has no advertising, analytics or tracking scripts. Optional course links and calendar files open or are imported only when you choose them. External sites operate under their own privacy policies and school-network rules.
What StudyFlow does not collect
StudyFlow does not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, payment details or device fingerprints. It uses your browser timezone for scheduling without needing location access.
Do not use a shared device without signing out and clearing local StudyFlow data when you finish.
